"Stage the Change" - Social Justice Through a Playwriting Based Curriculum
Tuesday, December 8 at 7:30 PM Eastern
Free for members; $49 for nonmembers
In this session, Ruthie Pincus, Executive Director of Stage the Change, will share a collection of strategies to lead your students to identify their passions and use their arts voices to create work that makes a difference in their community. This work engages students in a personal way and helps to develop them as empathetic engaged global citizens and artists, eventually becoming artists who understand the power of their young "arts voices."
Grab your favorite beverage and join timely conversations with other theatre teachers around the country and the world. Twice a month, EdTA will host 30-minute conversations around topics that are top of mind for you and your peers. Each session will begin with an invited conversation starter who will kick off the conversation by sharing their expertise. From there, the floor will be open to all to share their ideas with, and ask for advice from all in the room. Come share ideas and learn from each other with our Meet-Ups- every other Thursday beginning November 19th. EdTA members can join the interactive webinar using the link below.
